Design Ideas, JUST ideas!!!

Pic 1: Tim has the plans for hidden computer desks which will be on either side of the fireplace, but will look like cabinets when closed. Above these will be bookshelves.

Pic 2: I will be tiling the fireplace. Hopefully with a little more pizzazz :)

Pic 3: This transom is so pretty!!! It would be perfect. I'm going to go steal it.

These are the beautiful 'before' pictures of our big ol ugly living room.

Scene D: Notice the 'hidden' storage, and homemade shelves. While ignoring the huge piles of 110 year old wood flooring about to be burned. :(

Baby Catie sleeping so crazy!

She smiles!! Catie is officially a real baby, not just a blob anymore. This means she likes us and wants to stay. Although I was talking to her she isn't looking at me. Not sure what she was smiling at.

Awe....she sleeps so cute :) not alot of time to post pics although we did buy a new video camera that takes still shots as well and as soon as I figure that out we may have more.

Our scary porch and Avery and Catie's pumpkins. A scary tree and scary cat in case you can't tell. Also Avery decorated the spiderwebs in the background with bats, spiders, and glow in the dark skeletons.

Here are pictures of the room (and Tim posing as he works) as of 10/13 and the rooms baseboards which Avery was 'helping' me with tonight.

As a side note if anyone is aware of orbs or knows what they are you may be sufficiently freaked out by the picture of the room. I'm hoping it's just dust from his circular saw :) I don't really believe in them but if they did exist this house would be the place!

Here's a few pictures of Avery at Riley days. I think he had fun.

Picture of the dirty, apparently evil as well, dog for Meganne. Still not very potty trained but he was neutered two weeks ago and WILL be potty trained by the end of my maternity leave or he will never set foot in our carpeted bedroom and will be spending much of his time in his crate. Darn thing!!

This first is the room as of 10/8, Avery is the evil child model.

The second is the same view as the last only several weeks later.

The third is my first/earliest pic I can post. Before the floor came up and still some plaster on the walls.

The last is after the plaster came off, the shredded newspaper like insulation came out, and the floor was ripped up, floor joists replaced and new plywood laid down. Among other things.

Carpet arrives next week, so we have some painting to do this weekend.
